National service framework on coronary heart disease

The National Service Framework (NSF) for Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) was the first national service framework that the Healthcare Commission reviewed, providing us with an opportunity to take stock of what has already been achieved and determine what furtherwork or help is needed to ensure continuous improvement in the provision of health services for patients and to reduce the level of heart disease in the community.

National service framework on cancer

The national service framework for NHS Cancer Care in England and Wales was published by the Commission for Health Improvement (CHI) and the Audit Commission (AC) in December 2001. The questions for patients to ask leaflet was also produced by CHI and the AC. The leaflet is no longer available in print, but the information has been passed to Cancer Bacup who will be updating the information and redeveloping it in the near future. Cancer Bacup hope to have something available in Winter 2004.
