Surveys of NHS staff
The survey of NHS staff in England provides information on the attitudes and experiences of staff in the NHS. The fifth annual national survey of NHS staff, was conducted between October and December 2007. Almost 156,000 employees from all 391 NHS trusts in England (a response rate of 54%) responded to a questionnaire asking about their views and experiences of working for the NHS.
The results can be used to improve working conditions and practices in healthcare services, leading to an improvement in the quality of care provided to patients.
