Acute Trusts: Outpatient survey 2003

Over 90,000 patients in 171 NHS trusts in England were involved in the 2003 Acute trusts outpatient survey.

This survey was conducted by, and reports published by, the Commission for Health Improvement (CHI).

CHI published three reports summarising the key findings from the surveys and describing patients' experiences of each of these services. For the key national findings of the outpatient survey (published December 2003):

These surveys have been analysed and compiled to produce benchmark reports in order to compare results from each trust with the range of results across all trusts.
