Inpatient patients survey 2004

Over 88,000 patients were involved in the 2004 inpatient survey. The survey asked patients from 169 acute and specialist NHS trusts across England about their recent experience of inpatient care. Questionnaires were sent to 143,322 patients and 88,308 completed questionnaires were returned, representing a response rate of 63%.

Benchmark reports

The survey results will be analysed and compiled to produce benchmark reports in order to compare the results for each trust with the range of results across all trusts.
